ABOUT THE GALA
The Brooklyn Museum is located in the heart of Central Brooklyn, accessible by mass transportation and with available parking. Planning is based on 600 attendees, with tickets priced at $200, and $500 for VIPs. Corporate sponsors are encouraged to support at the $8,000, $5,000, and $2,500 levels. See those who are already confirmed below.
This is a “Brooklyn-style” networking event with buffet food stations by Great Performances, Brooklyn Wine, and Brooklyn Beer. Jazz music plays at the start of the event as attendees gather at the silent “fish bowl” auction. Donations of raffle prizes valued at $200 or more are now being accepted. The evening will be highlighted with a band, a popular DJ, and a Celebrity MC representing Brooklyn and keeping the crowd engaged.
Throughout the event, on large screens, a revolving display of One Brooklyn photos will be projected. The main program will last no more than 45 minutes and will include testimonials about One Brooklyn from non-profit recipients and an “ask for donations.” The program will conclude with the presentation of One Brooklyn Cornerstone Business Awards to long-tenured and newer businesses giving back to Brooklyn.
Mission: The One Brooklyn Fund, Inc. promotes collaboration and engagement among Brooklyn’s diverse communities through events, programs, and services.
